- Ty is the oldest child of Russ and LeAnn Church. Ty has one brother, Kyle, and two little sisters, Rylie and Taya. Ty is a senior at Delta High and right now is planning on going to college to become a nurse. Ty also plans on serving an LDS mission when he turns 19. He loves to play sports. Ty's favorite is BASEBALL. Ty's primary position is pitch. He also plays all of the bases. When he isn't pitching he usually plays 2nd or 3rd and depending on the situation has played 1st also. It is his LOVE. Ty is 6 ft. tall and weighs about 190 lbs. He is right handed and throws in the mid 80's. Ty also plays football and basketball. Ty also loves to hunt, fish and camp. He like to hang out with his friends and family.

Ty was also very successful in football. He was voted team captain, he earned the "Utility Player of the Year" and he receiver "All-Region 1st team". Ty played almost every position on the team, except for maybe safety and half back. His senior year he started out at running back and when the line was struggling the coaches asked him to go to the line and even though he wasn't a very big lineman he could handle it. He played middle linebacker and defensive end. Coach Schena told me that Ty had the most important muscle that an athlete could have and that was HEART. He wasn't the biggest, fastest, or strongest on the football team but he had the most heart of the whole team. Ty is a true competitor who always leads by example.
